At Peugeot Motor Parts, we value transparency and customer confidence. Although every engine and component we supply is carefully inspected before dispatch, we understand that issues may arise. Our Return & Refund Policy clearly outlines what can be returned, how returns are handled, and what you can expect throughout the process. This structure ensures fairness, clarity, and a reliable experience for every customer.

📘 General Return Requirements

We accept returns for items that remain unused, uninstalled, and in their original condition. To initiate a return, customers must contact us within 14 days of receiving the item. The product must be returned with all packaging, accessories, labels, and documentation intact.

To qualify for a return:

  • Item must be unused and uninstalled
  • Original packaging and accessories must be included
  • No signs of tampering, modification, or damage
  • Return request submitted within 14 days of delivery

Items showing installation marks or alterations cannot be accepted due to safety, integrity, and quality standards. Ensuring every customer receives a reliable, untouched product is our priority.

🛠️ Engine & Heavy Part Returns

Engines, transmissions, and other heavy components involve a stricter return process because of their size, complexity, and mechanical nature. These items must remain sealed, unused, and completely unmounted in order to qualify for a return.

Important conditions for engine returns:

  • The engine must not be opened or installed
  • We may request detailed photos/videos to verify condition
  • Items must be returned via palletized freight transport
  • Customer is responsible for safe packaging unless the item was faulty

If an engine arrives damaged, faulty, or different from what was described, we will arrange a replacement or initiate a refund after verification. Our goal is to ensure you receive a fully functional, correct engine every time.

❗ Incorrect or Faulty Items Received

In the rare event that you receive the wrong item, or if a component arrives damaged or faulty, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery. This allows us to respond quickly and take corrective action without delays.

We will request the following:

  • Clear photos or videos of the item and packaging
  • A description of the issue
  • Order reference details

After verifying the issue, we will provide either a replacement or a full/partial refund depending on the situation. Customer satisfaction is central to our service—that means resolving issues promptly and professionally.

🚫 Non-Returnable Items

Certain items cannot be returned due to safety protocols, quality control, or legal requirements. These items are strictly non-returnable once delivered, regardless of condition.

Non-returnable items include:

  • Electrical components (ECUs, sensors, ignition coils, wiring)
  • Installed or modified parts
  • Custom or special-order components
  • Clearance and final-sale items

These restrictions help ensure that every electrical or custom part supplied is new, untouched, and reliable.

💳 Refund Process

Once your returned item is received at our facility, it goes through a careful inspection to confirm its condition. If the return is approved, we will process your refund promptly. Refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically take 3–7 business days to appear.

Refund details:

  • Refund issued after inspection approval
  • Processed back to the original payment method
  • May include deductions if parts or packaging are missing
  • You will be notified once your refund is processed

📦 Return Shipping Responsibilities

Responsibility for return shipping depends on the nature of the issue. If the product was faulty, incorrect, or damaged upon arrival, we will cover the shipping cost. If the customer ordered the wrong part or no longer needs the item, the return shipping cost is their responsibility.

Who pays for return shipping?

  • We pay if the item is faulty or incorrect
  • Customer pays if they ordered incorrectly or changed their mind
  • Engine returns must use approved freight carriers for safety

📝 Order Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled provided they have not yet been shipped. Once dispatch occurs, the order can no longer be cancelled and must instead be returned following the standard return procedure. Custom orders, reserved stock, and specially sourced components cannot be cancelled once processing begins.
